Alloy 625
Alloy C-276 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with a small amount of tungsten and exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of harsh environments and media. Being ductile it is easily formed and welded and is used in most industrial settings where aggressive chemical environment. It is frequently used in many industries, including chemical and petrochemical processing, oil and gas, power generation, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper production and waste water treatment. Being the most universally corrosion resistant alloys available today, it is used in all kind of environment. stainless steel types, measuring approximately 60 HRC. This particular stainless steel is primarily employed in bearing assemblies, such as ball bearings, and is worth considering for applications involving needle valves and ball check valves.
