15-5PH H1025

Alloy 15-5 is a precipitation-hardening alloy known for its remarkable strength and hardness, accompanied by moderate corrosion resistance. It is derived from the older 17-4 alloy, but with a specific aim of enhancing toughness, particularly in the through-thickness (short transverse) orientation. This makes Alloy 15-5 an excellent choice for applications demanding superior transverse strength and toughness, such as engine parts, aircraft components, nuclear reactor components, and more.
